C373
Original Corgi Prototype of Corgi 377 Peugeot 505 from 'The New European' Collection. Never released in this BRONZE shade.
Notes
An exceptional collection of prototypes were purchased by ‘The New European’ Collector, largely originating from two well-documented sources i.e. the auction of the property of Marcel Van Cleemput at Sotheby’s Auction House in 1999 and the Losch Auction House in Germany during 2000.
From the Losch Auction, lot number 2136, this is prototype of Corgi 373 Peugeot 505 , although never released in this light bronze colour (issued in red, and in Gift Set 13 in white). Late issue, larger scale model was released in 1981.
Black trim, riveted base and free-running Whizzwheels. Red plastic rear light detail.
