C404M
Corgi 404M Bedford 'Dormobile' Personnel Carrier. Very near mint/boxed. Turquoise issue. From 'The Monty Calme' Corgi Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1956-60, this sought-after early mechanical Corgi commercial model is in original condition with a working flywheel motor. Presents well with an attractive original lustre in turquoise ( a slightly ‘greener’ hue when compared to the blue version just listed).
Flat spun wheels and well-shaped, as-new original tyres. Occasional tiny dot visible to the gimlet-eyed.
The powder blue picture box is complete, with a crisp feel. A little age/handling wear and a crease on the tuck-in part of one large end flap. Light crease on the top surface of the box too. Period pencilled price at an end flap. Corgi Club Membership Form.
