Notes

A sought-after and scarce Gift Set issued between 1966-68, this exciting and colourful set comprises:

1) Corgi 1138 Ford Car Transporter in red, blue & silver.
.Tiny bend to one of the horns on the roof. Both wing mirrors are intact and complete with the little mirror pieces too. 4 plastic chocks. Little contact chip on the cab roof , few mere dots besides. Looks unused with a fine sheen and complete lettering, logo and labels. Fine original tyres.

2) Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor in pale lilac blue with a red interior.Little ‘bloomed’ spot on the roof. Occasional minor mark besides.

3) Corgi 249 Morris Mini Cooper in red & black with ‘wickerwork’ side detail. Hard to find a mark.

3) Corgi 251 Hillman Imp in bronze. Scarce colour version. Suspension is a little ’soft on one wheel, the rest are absolutely fine. One little mark to the paint finish. Little mark at the rear bumper.

4) Corgi 252 Rover 2000 in rich, deep maroon. Virtually mint. Suspension.

5) Corgi 321 Austin Mini-Cooper in red with roof signatures of Timo Makinen and Paul Easter. Near mint. All four jewelled lights. Suspension on bright spun wheels. Little nick to one of the door transfers. Few minor paint marks only.

6) Corgi 440 Ford Cortina Estate in metallic blue. Very, very near mint.

All contents are housed in a polystyrene tray with a Corgi dog label (little wear). Minor wear to the models and a small chunk has become dislodged.

The eye-catching card lid has unrubbed graphics on intact, sturdy card. No tears or graffiti. Minor age wear, including light handling grubbiness and a small stain. Note that this was a mail order set ( mail order label at one lid end).
