C422
Corgi 422 Bedford 12cwt Van "Corgi Toys". Very near mint/boxed. Scarce issue in vibrant mid-blue with yellow roof. From 'The New European' Collection.
Notes
Surely one of the most attractive of the early Corgi commercials, this ‘Corgi Toys’ Bedford Van has a really eye-catching vibrant mid-blue finish with a bright yellow roof! Complete Corgi transfers with the unmistakable dog logo on both sides. Flat spun wheels and a bright baseplate (remains of an old price label). Original fine tread tyres are supple and well-shaped.
Issued between 1960-62, in various blue and yellow combinations, this is one of the most difficult to find (and our personal favourite).
This Bedford Van has a day-one lustre to the paint finish has minor marking only. Note the little wrinkle in one of the transfers.
The picture box is clean and complete with a crisp feel. Minor handling and age wear.
