Corgi Gift Set 14 Giant 'DAKTARI' Set. Very near mint/boxed, with packing pieces. Scarce. Includes detachable header card. From 'The New European Collection'.
Notes
This popular and sought-after set comprises:
1) Corgi 438 Land Rover. This version has suspension on detailed cast wheels. Minor top nibbling to the label below the windscreen, otherwise hard to fault. Includes Dr. Marsh Tracy (with stethoscope), Judy The Chimp and tiger.
2) Corgi 503 Bedford Giraffe Transporter. In very near mint condition, complete with both wing mirrors (lacks one of the tiny reflective pieces) and the two giraffes. Detailed cast wheels. One little mark at the rear. Bright and complete labels on both sides. Card packing piece.
3) Corgi 483 Dodge Truck ‘Kew Fargo’. In very near mint condition with complete labels throughout. A few little marks only. Both original elephants are included. Packing card piece
Complete with Paula and Clarence The Lion – with spectacles! Original yellow elastic band.
All items are housed in a very fresh and clean polystyrene inner. Note the tiny puncture caused by contact with one of the wing mirrors.
The attractively illustrated outer box is colourful and clean, looking fresh.
Minor age wear only. and note the writing on the reverse.
Header card (so often missing!) is present and complete too.
