Notes

With a Corgi collection richly evoking the period between the late 1950?s through to the mid 1970?s, this large European Collection has been lovingly compiled by an enthusiast with particular emphasis on point of sale, including original cabinets and literature, prototypes, promotional items, alongside a high quality collection of individual models and Gift Sets.

A sought-after and scarce Gift Set issued between 1966-68, this exciting and colourful set comprises:

1) Corgi 1138 Ford Car Transporter in red, blue & silver.
Very near mint. Straight horns on the roof. Both wing mirrors are intact and complete with the little mirror pieces too. 4 plastic chocks. Couple of little contact marks on the cab roof.
2) Corgi 226 Morris Mini Minor in pale lilac blue with a red interior. Few minor marks only.
3) Corgi 249 Morris Mini Cooper in red & black with ‘wickerwork’ side detail. Very near mint. With front number plate detail added.
4) Corgi 251 Hillman Imp in bronze. Scarce colour version. Very near mint, with notably intact suspension! Shaped spun wheels, one has been factory fitted with the flat surface showing.
5) Corgi 252 Rover 2000 in metallic maroon. Very, very near mint. Suspension.
6) Corgi 333 Austin Mini Cooper ‘Sun Rally Mini’ version. All four jewelled lights. Suspension on bright spun wheels. Little mark to racing number labels. Very fine example. Very near mint.
7) Corgi 440 Ford Cortina Estate in metallic grey. Very near mint (mark on roof).

All contents are housed in a polystyrene tray which is complete, bright and fresh. Corgi dog label.

The eye-catching card lid has bright graphics on intact, sturdy card. Rare to find this good.

No tears or graffiti. Only the most minor age wear.
