Notes

One of the most difficult and sought-after Corgi Gift Sets. This remarkable set is in unused and original condition, complete with Instructions, mat, glue, Accessory Pack A, paints and paint brush.

Paint case is rather grubby now with little tears to the delicate perspex inner.
The set comprises:

1) Corgi 224 Bentley Continental Sports Saloon. Very near mint condition with a strikingly lustrous finish and bright chrome parts intact bonnet emblem (of course!). Few minor marks only. Box is crisp, bright and clean. Minor wear only.

2) Corgi 225 Austin Seven. Very near mint condition. Box is clean, bright and fresh-looking.

3) Corgi 229 Chevrolet Corvair. Few tiny marks only. Fine box.

4) Corgi 234 Ford Consul Classic. Very near mint condition with a few tiny marks mostly on the bonnet. Very nice box has barely any wear at all.

5) Corgi 419 Ford Zephyr Motorway Patrol. With blue roof light, perfect ‘POLICE’ transfer and straight intact aerial. Very near mint condition, with a few small dots down one side. Box is crisp and bright. Complete with packing card.

6) 3 × 601 Batley “Leofric” Garages Kits. Colourful card boxes have tiniest wear. Bagged with Instructions inside.

2 × 606 Corgi Lamp Standards. Bagged with Instructions inside.

All boxes look very clean, fresh and bright. Obviously unused items.

Large sturdy outer box is an excellent, brightly -coloured example.

Very minor edge nibble to the paper label. Some grubbiness and a very small surface scratch at the box base side. Modern price label. Period price in pencil on the lid. Light surface rubbing in places.

Finally, we would like again to stress the rarity of this set which is complete, unused and authentic throughout.
A notable addition to any Corgi collection. A very difficult find indeed.
