Notes
Issued between 1964-65, this is one of the range of exciting racing Minis produced by Corgi during this period. Extremely popular at the time, they are even more sought-after by collectors these days!
A fresh and crisp red and white finish on this racing model with a bright silver spotlight on the roof (which swivels). Note that this particular example has no labels! Whether this was simply a factory oversight or removed by a collector at some point – it is difficult to know. However, there are no tell-tale traces of labels ever having been applied.
Little casting mark on the passenger door and a couple of small marks on the bonnet. Another little casting mark on the bonnet. Faint flicks of factory silver on the driver’s door.
The plain stamped box is complete with all end flaps, if looking a touch worn now. Small end flap tear and a couple of tiny end flap tears besides. Faint crayon marks and a little rub on one side. Packing ring is still present.
