C1110
Corgi 1110 Mobilgas Petrol Tanker. Near mint plus/boxed. Shaped spun wheel issue. With packing. Shaped spun wheel issue. From 'The New European' Collection.
Notes
With a Corgi collection richly evoking the period between the late 1950?s through to the mid 1970?s, this large European Collection has been lovingly compiled by an enthusiast with particular emphasis on point of sale, including original cabinets and literature, prototypes, promotional items, alongside a high quality collection of individual models and Gift Sets.
This Corgi commercial Bedford ‘S’ Tanker is in superb, fresh condition with eye-catching ‘Mobilgas’ transfers on both sides (complete save for one tiny nick at one edge). Worth noting noting that the white background colour of the transfer has not become yellow or discoloured over time. Perfect detailed transfer at the rear, too. Slightly later issue with shaped spun rather than flat spun wheels. Model was issued between 1959-64.
Not a trace of sunfading!
One little graze at a wheel arch and minute scrutiny reveals a few little touch-ins.
Untarnished baseplate and fine, original tyres.
The lift-off lid pictorial box is a pleasing example. Vivid colours and clean card.
Complete with internal card packing. Minor age wear only.
