Notes

A landmark Corgi Collection covering the width and breadth of Corgi models amassed over decades by an exuberant collector. The Monty Calme collection is a truly astonishing gathering of the best of Corgi models and ephemera, including rare and unique pieces and point of sale items. The largest collection we have ever seen.

A sensational and sought-after Gift Set from Corgi. This is the earliest issue (and hardest to find) presented in the plain card box (1963-66).
It comprises:
1) 150s Vanwall Racing Car, with Corgi Club Membership Form & some wheel trims on backing (not full set). Very, very near mint/ in super box!
2) 151A Lotus Mark IX Le Mans, very near mint, with Corgi Club Membership Form. Very crisp box.
3) 152s BRM Racing Car, with Corgi Club Membership Form, Corgi printed note and some wheel trims on backing (not full set). Very, very near mint/ in super box!
4) 215s Thunderbird Open Sports, very near mint/boxed (very crisp and fresh but notable tear). With Corgi Club Membership Form.
5) 304s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Hardtop, very near mint/boxed, with Corgi Club Membership Form
6) 309 Aston Martin DB4 Competition. Very near mint/boxed, with Corgi Club Membership Form
7) 417s Land Rover ‘Breakdown Service’, with packing piece.

The kits are all unmade, and in crisp lovely boxes. Tiny wear.
The large outer box is complete, although do note that it is grubby now with some light water stain marks and a surface scuff on the lid. Small puncture at a lid side and numbering in pen nearby. Old tape.
