A landmark Corgi Collection covering the width and breadth of Corgi models amassed over decades by an exuberant collector. The Monty Calme collection is a truly astonishing gathering of the best of Corgi models and ephemera, including rare and unique pieces and point of sale items. The largest collection we have ever seen.

An impressive and sought-after set from Corgi – the first time we have ever offered for sale still with its cellophane over-wrap in place. We surmise that only mail order sets were covered with this cellophane overwrap.
This is the second issue from 1964 which includes the Giraffe Truck rather than the Booking Office. (Other minor differences too).

The attractive, highly detailed pictorial scene card box is intact and very bright with a few minor corner scuffs. Note too the little tape residue at lid corners.

Lift off the lid and the original white card packing piece is still present – nearly always discarded.

The contents are completely untouched with all accessories, still beneath the cellophane over-wrap, although this delicate over-wrap has some significant tearing.

The polystyrene inner is completely untouched too! Comes with the white card surround too, which further protects the polystyrene.
