A landmark Corgi Collection covering the width and breadth of Corgi models amassed over decades by an exuberant collector. The Monty Calme collection is a truly astonishing gathering of the best of Corgi models and ephemera, including rare and unique pieces and point of sale items. The largest collection we have ever seen.

Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor unit with trailer has a vivid glowing, original red finish, bright shaped spun wheels, intact and bright paper labels throughout and a vivid blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
Looks barely handled.

Barely any marks at the opening doors where metal meets metal (showing that this model has rarely been handled). Notably, both of the wing mirrors are present, although rather age-affected now, but complete with both little ‘reflective’ pieces. Note the metal detail on the roof has dulled now. Probably as-made, small abrasion on one side (plastic. )
The item comes with the full complement of six grey horses still within their card packing.
The card plinth is complete with both pull-out end tabs in place. Notably, all six push-out tabs are in place – and no tears! Looking very fresh indeed.

Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing piece – so often discarded!
The colourful outer box is very nice indeed, looking close to shop-fresh in fact. Just a very small handling tear and very minor wear besides.
