C349
Corgi 349 Morris Mini Minor 'Pop Art'. Excellent/boxed. Very scarce and always sought-after. In very rare, authentic 'Temporary Box'. From 'The Monty Calme Collection'.
Notes
A landmark Corgi Collection covering the width and breadth of Corgi models amassed over decades by an exuberant collector. The Monty Calme collection is a truly astonishing gathering of the best of Corgi models and ephemera, including rare and unique pieces and point of sale items. The largest collection we have ever seen.
One of the most prized Corgi models, we are delighted to offer this example – a particularly difficult find in any condition, and an even rarer find in this authentic ‘Temporary Box’.
Correctly finished in orange-red with suspension on detailed cast wheels. The highly decorative transfers are notably complete throughout. Note too that this model has the correct horizontal body line on the front wing and patent number (not patent applied) on the base. These details ensure that this model is a Mini Mostest and not a later decorated red Mini Corgi 226.
A particularly rare find in the plain Temporary Box with Corgi Dog Logo at box ends and Mini Mostest printed on two faces. Very minor wear only.
