Notes
A fine and original example of this export issue made between 1953-54 (later renumbered 981). This Horsebox is cast in aluminium and has a very lustrous deep maroon paint finish with matching wheels. Close to perfect. Just a few of the usual little marks at the rear opening door. Couple of little marks besides. Complete lettering at both sides and above the cab.
Superb display piece.
It comes in the deep blue box with paper labels. Later the paper label would be one continuous piece running the majority of the top surface and one lid end. This earlier issue has 2 smaller paper labels in deep orange and white. Clean and bright. Small edge nibble to the label at lid end. Rusty staples. Minor age wear. Such vivid colours!
