D070
Dinky 070 AEC Mercury Tanker 'Shell B.P.' Near mint/boxed. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
This is one of the small range of Dublo Dinky models manufactured between 1958-64, in a scale of 1:76 so that they would be ideally suited for a 00 model railway layout.
Typically one of the most difficult models from the Dublo range to find, this AEC Mercury Tanker is in near mint condition with a vibrant original red and green finish (no sunfading!) and near-complete-complete detailed transfers at the sides (couple of small nicks to one transfer).
This version has grey plastic knobbly wheels. Window glazing.
Occasional tiny dot to the paint finish.
The red and yellow non-picture box is very fresh indeed with day-one bright colours on crisp card. Resistant end flaps. Faint penned price at an end flap , pen mark to the other.
