Second type cab issue of this Dinky truck made between 1952-56. Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this example from 1956. This gleaming bright Supertoy model has a violet blue cab and chassis and a vivid orange back (not dull), paler blue grooved hubs. As-new, original black radial tyres. Shiny base (bolt fixing) and a fine lustre throughout with excellent original silver detailing at radiator, headlights and bumper.
Presents well in this eye-catching colour combination.
Difficult to find a mark. Upon close inspection, there are a few little touch-ins principally at some wheel arches.
The box (with upright Supertoys print) is bright and complete with no tears or repairs. No graffiti and no loss of colour vibrancy. Very minor wear only. Period pencilled price on the lid.
Makes a wonderful display piece!
