From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
Issued during 1967, this early version has a bright white finish, with complete ‘POLICE’ labels on both opening doors, and on the roof. Complete and perfect ‘Austin Cooper S’ boot lid transfer with factory over-stuck ‘H’ registration number plate in yellow at the rear. ‘H’ registration number plate at the front too.
Rare to find with a clear plastic aerial too!

Jewelled headlights and bright shaped spun wheels. Fine original tyres. Opening bonnet. Detailed red interior with tipping seats.

Note the bold additional dab of paint on the bonnet centre line (may be factory). A little rough paint finish immediately above one of the door labels. Couple of mere dots besides. Usual little traces of glue around the headlights.
The picture box is old shop stock quality. Really difficult to price open the resistant end flaps. Comes with the card packing ring too.
An extremely interesting version indeed.
