An exciting and rare model from this knowledgeable early Dinky collector.
This is the pre-war version and the first we have handled.
In all original condition, this pre-war issue has a dark green lower section with a cream tinplate upper half. Correct that this issue has a low set cast-in driver. Silver trim. Silver-painted base. Note the smooth wheels with rubber tyres ( the owner is sure that this model was issued like this with three original white tyres and one black one). All are well-shaped and run easily on the correct thin axles.
Near mint, authentic condition:
Note the chip at a front wheel arch, two head-on, and another couple on the roof front edge. Wheels have faint crazing but correctly stored, we do not expect this minor fatigue to deteriorate.
