FD882
French Dinky 882 Pinder Circus Set Peugeot 404 & Circus Caravan. Excellent plus - very near mint/boxed. With packing card and leaflet. From 'The New European Collection'.
Notes
An eye-catching set from the Pinder range of French Dinky models – and not an easy find. This two-part set comprises:
i) French Dinky 536 Peugeot 404 finished in Pinder livery (in red and yellow) with chromed concave wheels and a striking Pinder Circus hoarding the roof. Hard to find a mark!
ii) French Dinky 564 Caravelair Armagnac 420 Caravan in Pinder livery with bright, original Pinder labels at both sides (little furling, as you might expect, to the letter on the opening door). The occasional minor mark. Close scrutiny discovered three little retouches on the caravan.
The yellow plinth in which both models are placed is clean, if rather sunfaded in places now. One little tear at a wheel slot. Note the complete delicate bright yellow packing piece which is still present too.
The*illustrated end flap box* is complete, if a little sunfaded in places, now. As is so often the case, there is a tear to the tuck-in part of the large end flaps. Minor handling wear besides. Trace of old sellotape which kept one lid end closed. No graffiti.
No bear or road sign with this example.
Colourful Leaflet is included:
