D753
Dinky 753 Police Controlled Crossing. Near mint (little repair)/boxed. From 'The New European Collection'.
Notes
An interesting accessory item from Dinky made between 1962-67. It consists of a black and white striped box in the centre of a traffic island with a policeman directing the traffic.
All complete with the removable lamp standard, and traffic bollards with paper labels in place (little repair to one of the bollards). The policeman can be moved around on his base to control the traffic from different directions (operated by means of a wheel at the side of the police box).
Little age grubbiness to the complete paper label.
The long, slim red and yellow card box is complete and tear-free. A little minor age wear (the occasional rub and crease). Operating and assembly instructions printed on the reverse of the box. Faintly pencilled period price.
