Issued between 1955-57, this classic, eye-catching Dinky Tanker has a vibrant paint finish with an intact ladder and very close to perfect ‘REGENT’ letters on both sides and delicate transfer at the rear:
No dents to the tanker. Some contact chipping with most marks at the wheel arches. Intact tow hook. Original smooth-running radial tyres. Spare stowed on the underside.
Minor ‘spidering’ to the baseplate.
Studied closely, you will note a few extra (later) little white dots covering little marks to the white strip at the sides. Little tarnishing to the ‘numberplate’.
The striped Supertoys box is bright and complete, with a little usual age wear/grubbiness, although there are no splits or punctures.
Dinky stamp inside the box lid dates this particular example May 1955.
