Notes

We are thrilled to be able to offer these remarkable models for sale. Issued in extremely low numbers at the time, they were assembled and painted in Arica, a duty-free city on the Northern tip of Chile. These exceptionally rare models were discovered by a collector on a trip to South America. The castings were made in Italy and then assembled and painted in Chile.

Finished in an attractive shade of Chilean Blue, with a bright red detailed interior, shiny spun wheels, supple original tyres. Jewelled headlights. Rear number plate. Black painted base.

Note the little area of paint ‘blistering’ on the roof. The occasional small mark besides.
Colourful,and complete card box has rubbing and a little tear, as well as storage crumpling. Note the all-important ?ARMADO EN ARICA? (Made in Arica) stamp on on one interior surface of an end flap.
