Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
Issued between 1959-61 with a type 3 Leyland grille, this classic Dinky bus presents well with a lustrous original vibrant red and cream paint finish, matching bright red wheels and well-shaped treaded tyres. ‘Dunlop – The World’s Master Tyre’ lettering is complete on both sides:
There are a few small marks only, to the all original paint finish.
The attractive pictorial box has day-one bright colours on crisp, like-new card. Tiniest tear. Correct colour spot for this version. Complete with the (rarely seen) original packing slip which protects the model in the box. Usually discarded. We have not seen better!
