It has been a long time since we have offered this scarce late version for sale.
Issued 1960-63, this example is finished in the standard navy blue and white, with mid-blue wheels – but with white treaded tyres and late style gloss tinplate base too.
Lettering and emblems are notably complete at both sides. Usual little rub to a raised roof detail. No discolouration to the white roof. Tyres are well-shaped. Axle ends are shiny. Silver trim is largely unrubbed. Occasional little mark to the paint finish.
Crisp and colourful non-picture red and yellow box is clean and complete. Tiny seam tear. Faint label residue at an end flap. No graffiti. Looks fresh.
