C267
Corgi 267 Batmobile. Scarce 1st issue - Matt black version. Very, very near mint/boxed. With full Secret Instruction Packet & packing piece. A sought-after, iconic model from The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
This 1st issue example is in beautiful, very near mint condition. Lovely and unmistakeable silky matt paint finish (few of these have survived, most were gloss finish).
Occasional negligible pinprick dot to the paint finish. Suspension is fine on the wheels, save for one rear wheel where it is rather soft now. The car sits fine and straight. Vivid blue screens, both seated figures of Batman and Robin, bright chrome to launching tubes and cockpit, vivid Bathubs and Bat logos on both sides. Intact aerial. Pulsating flame, chain cutter and rocket launchers have been tested and work well.
Card inner is very bright and clean with vivid day-one bright artwork. Card is crisp and displays extremely well:
Couple of minor tears to 2 of the wheel slots.
The Secret Instruction Packet has been opened. It contains Instructions, and a full sprue of yellow rockets. Original badge.
The colourfully illustrated outer box is vivid, clean and bright. Little ruffle/start of a tear at one end flap edge. Minimal handling wear besides.
Original wrap-around card packing piece is included.
A scarce and all-original Corgi iconic item to add to your collection.
