French Dinky military models always impress and this Char AMX model with original aerial (still in packet), straight gun, swivelling turret, intact light grey tracks and bright metal parts is no exception.
This model has a matt military finish and was re-numbered from 817 in 1973. Prior to that, it was numbered 80C, but correct that this late issue does not have this number stamped on the baseplate.
In close to mint, unused condition.
Slightly ‘mottled’ paint finish ( these matt finishes do not age well) and a couple of little marks.
The colourful, fresh, clean and bright camouflage/picture box is a real treat. Tiny grubbiness only. As-new feel.
Comes with the original card packing piece too.
No camouflage net.
