FD14
French Dinky 14 Triporteur. Near mint plus/never individually boxed. Scarce model from the French Dinky section of The Reference Collection.
Notes
Issued between 1950-52, this scarce early French Dinky is a highly displayable model, complete with original driver, opening trunk, yellow ridged wheels, bright axles, smooth free-running tyres. A fine lustre to the paint finish throughout.
Note that this example has a black lid (most unusual – we have never seen one), although do note that it does lack one of the little retaining lugs now.
A few minor marks only, and for an unboxed model of this age, an exceptional find.
A scarce early French Dinky model.
