We are delighted to offer for sale the rarest of the ‘Corgi Toys’ Bedford Vans. In stunning, all original condition with an eye-catching vibrant mid-blue lower half and a bright yellow upper half. ‘Corgi Toys’ lettering and logo are complete on both sides. Shiny flat spun wheels and a bright baseplate. Original fine tread tyres are supple and as-new.
Issued between 1960-62, in various blue and yellow combinations, this particular version is a really difficult find.
This Bedford Van has a day-one lustre to the paint finish – in virtually mint condition, in fact. For completeness’ sake, please note a little dot of stray blue beneath the letter ‘T’ on one side, a tiny mark and a little casting dot on the roof.
The picture box is crisp, complete and bright. No tears. Minor age wear and a few grubby marks on the tuck-in flap of one large end flap. Period price is pencilled at an end flap. Corgi Club Membership Form is included.
