C312
Corgi 312 'E' Type Jaguar Competition Model. Near mint plus/boxed. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
A striking Corgi model issued between 1964-68 with a silver vacuum plated finish, black interior, intact original windscreen, racing driver, steering wheel. Suspension on detailed spoked wheels (dulling to one). Original tyres are well-shaped and run easily.
A nice example which has a rub mark to the back of the tonneau. Intact bonnet stripe. Note the tiny portion of stray additional transfer at the rear bonnet racing number. Racing number 2 is complete on the bonnet and boot.
The box is extremely crisp, clean with day-one bright colours. Remains of a orice label at an end flap and a small area of surface loss nearby.
Very nice!
