C301
Corgi 301 Triumph TR2 Sports Car. Near mint plus/boxed. Deep vibrant green issue. Scarce model from The Heart of England Collection
Notes
This exciting Corgi car was made between 1956-61, in three different colour finishes. The model has an outstanding fresh deep green paint finish, cream seats, unpainted steering wheel, flat spun wheels, and an intact windscreen. An impressive model from Corgi – especially considering that this car was made during the first year of production.
Such an attractive example!
Shiny base and as-new fine tread tyres.
A few small stray little marks in a lighter green shade low down on the passenger side (do not appear to be touch-ins, quite curious). Tiny mark or two besides, otherwise hard to fault.
The very fresh blue and yellow picture box is complete and crisp, with all end flaps tear-free. Plenty of spring in the end flaps, showing that this box has rarely been opened. No graffiti or tears. Little residue from an old price label or similar at an end flap.
