FD35A
French Dinky 35A Citroen Breakdown Truck 'DINKY SERVICE'. Very, very near mint/boxed. Early issue. From an impeccable collection in The Netherlands.
Notes
The high quality just keeps on coming!
An early example of this nicely finished Citroen Breakdown vehicle, later re-numbered to 582. Such a lustrous finish throughout, with very near perfect-perfect ‘DINKY SERVICE’ lettering on both sides. Very bright winding handle, axle ends and baseplate. Spare wheel stowed behind the cab. Looks like old shop stock; such a beautiful and vibrant lustre with no tarnishing to the metal parts. :
Wonderfully fresh baseplate and well-shaped supple, as-new tyres.

Just one tiny dot (probably as-made) to a rear edge.
The pictorial box is is really fresh and clean, with strong colours. Small end flap crease (tuck-in part) and a little ruffle/tiny tear to one corner. Plenty of end flap spring.
One of our favourite French Dinky models.
