C347
Corgi 347 Chevrolet Astro 1 Experimental Car. Whizzwheels. Mint/boxed with stiff packing piece. A more difficult find in this box presentation. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
Issued between 1969-74. In tip-top condition, taken out of the box just once to take this picture. This Chevrolet model has a gleaming metallic blue finish, bright gold bonnet inset and lights. Whizzwheels. Two figures inside; the male figure often mistaken for James Bond! It comes complete with the stiffer cellophane piece propping open the car.
A lovely example presented in a harder to find, shop-fresh, red and yellow window box.
An under-valued model at this price.
