From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.

A beautiful and authentic English Dinky commercial to stop you in your tracks!
This is a classic sought-after Dinky Studebaker Tanker (early issue 1954-58) in outstanding condition with a beautifully lustrous, unfaded, original paint finish. Day one vivid sheen is just outstanding!

A little tarnishing at one end of the baseplate, although all other metal parts look very shiny. Well-formed smooth original tyres.

‘Mobilgas’ lettering has not rubbed (couple of tiny nicks on one side) and the delicate detailed transfer at the rear has no rubs or nicks.
Most notably, the silver domes on the roof are rub-free! Just one mere dot.
A couple of little rough casting marks- otherwise hard to fault.
Makes an outstanding display piece.
The scarce dual-numbered box marks the transition from the early numbering 30P to 440 which occurred during 1954. The fine, fresh condition of the box belies its age with vivid colours on clean intact card. Shopkeeper’s period price at an end flap. Crease. Tiniest age wear besides.
