Notes
A colourful tinplate Big Bedford Horse Box with working clockwork motor made by the British manufacturer Wells Brimtoy. A scarce find in any condition, this example measures approximately 23cms. Opening rear door. Pleasing lithography at the sides. Cab interior detail too.
Minor wear/few very light scratches only.
Buff card box with lift-off lid has a complete and bright (multi-issue) paper label, with this model as one of the four illustrated. The box has fared very well indeed (the most minor wear only). Note the period prices in one top corner of the lid.
