C1137
Corgi 1137 Ford Tilt Cab 'H' with Detachable Trailer "Express Service". Very near mint/boxed. Detailed cast wheels. With figure. In the scarce pictorial card and cellophane-fronted box.
Notes
Issued between 1966-69, this Ford articulated truck is in very close to mint condition. This truck just gleams! Complete with both wing mirrors intact, straight horns on the cab roof, and perfect “EXPRESS SERVICE” detailing on both sides of the bright silver, sliding doors (the occasional minor rub and a small fine light scratch).
Quite magnificent and so eye-catching!
Looks like old shop stock (if you really want to fault it, you will find the occasioanl minor , probably as-made, dot to the paint finish. It comes complete with the figure, too.
The card and cellophane front box is a more unusual find. The white card inner is intact and there is the full complement of polystyrene packing pieces included too (one which runs along the base for support and two small sections between the card inner tray and the end flaps).
The card is bright with a crisp feel. None of the expected wear and tear to this comparatively flimsy box. The original cellophane window has a tiny puncture that is easily overlooked.
