C344
Corgi 344 Ferrari 206 Dino Sport. Red. Very near mint/boxed. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
First issued during 1969, this version is in deep red finish with white doors and red spot wheels, racing number 30. Unused, authentic example with both aerofoils, detailed engine, spare wheel, spring suspension and jewelled rear lights. Complete racing numbers on bonnet and both doors too.
Chip at a wheel arch, otherwise hard to fault.
It comes with a shop-fresh window box with the revised specification (red spot wheels) strip on box top and box reverse and a circular label too. Original cellophane is smooth and intact.
Box can only have been opened just a couple of times ever – the end flaps are so crisp they are difficult to prise open! Beautiful day-one bright colours! Period price label at an end flap.
