C347
Corgi 347 Chevrolet Astro 1 Experimental car. Red spot wheels. Very, very near mint plus/boxed. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
This desirable early issue Chevrolet model has a gleaming metallic peacock blue finish, bright gold bonnet inset and sought-after red spot wheels (later replaced by Whizzwheels).
Two figures inside; the male figure often mistaken for James Bond!
Most attractive lustre to this eye-catching Chevrolet.
Close scrutiny reveals a tiny (probably as-made) mark or two.
This is a lovely example in a crisp bright window box which has a smooth original cellophane window. Small tear to the inner caused by movement of the model in the box. Tiny storage crease at an end flap. Period price label is still in place at an end flap.
