Notes

From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.

This three-piece Gift Set was issued between 1969-71 and the contents of this particular example have never been removed from the box ( the new owner may want to advise us whether the contents should be removed from the box for safe transit).

1) Volkswagen Breakdown Truck finished in white with cast wheels. Racing Club/Corgi Dog logo paper labels on both sides. Hinged red plastic tool box lid opens and inside all the plated tools may be seen.
Never removed from the box, nevertheless a few dots may be seen.
2) Red Racing Car Trailer has cast wheels.
3) Corgi 159 Cooper-Maserati in yellow and white. Cast wheels. Blue plastic driver with a white helmet. Slightly age-affected racing number on the bonnet. Original rubber band is still in place fixing the model to the trailer.

Vacuum formed white plastic inner is assumed intact, but do note that his type of packing is so fragile and easily damaged by the contents.
Outer sellophane fronted box is extremely bright, clean and crisp. Little corner edge scuff.
