Corgi 303 Mercedes-Benz 300SL Open Roadster. Excellent plus/unboxed. Pale blue issue with SHAPED SPUN WHEELS - WITHOUT SUSPENSION VERSION. From a large, stunning diverse collection with many items in old shop stock condition.
Notes
From one of the largest, private collections we have ever seen, with many items bought new at the time and stored away until now. Taken as a whole, the collection provides an exciting, kaleidoscopic snapshot of popular diecast toys issued during the 1960?s -1970?s.
This Mercedes Roadster is in all original condition, with a light blue finish, and bright shaped spun wheels, correct with no suspension. This model has an intact windscreen and white seats, grey plastic steering wheel.
Scarce.
Several little marks and a thin finish to the white tonneau in one area. Shiny baseplate. Supple, smooth-running, as-new tyres.
Issued between 1958-60, later this model was issued with suspension and as a competition car.
