M1
Morestone Bedford Car Carrier. Very near mint/boxed. With 2 chocs & Instruction Slip on the inside of the box lid. Scarce. From an impeccable collection in The Netherlands.
Notes
Issued between 1956-57, this is a pleasing example by Morestone. In all original condition, this articulated car carrier has a Bedford Tractor Unit finished in brilliant orange with a silver trim., grey carrier unit with detachable raps and two chocs. Diecast orange wheels.
Original supple tyres run well.
Looks unused – wonderfully glossy finish to the orange cab which is mint.
Little contact mark where a wheel arch has come into contact with the trailer. Couple of mere dots to the grey back, visible if you really want to find them. Two casting marks.
The colourful lift-off lid box is clean and bright. Tape repair to one short lid end. Storage crumple to the base and the occasional scuff.
