Notes
This Mercedes racer has a sparkling gloss white original finish, red diecast wheels, blue metal driver. Early issue.
None of the usual dulling/rubbing on the raised wheel arches. Just a few minor dots to the paint finish. Base has a fine sheen. Treaded tyres look as-new.
Presents well.
The early issue deeper yellow picture box is strongly-coloured and complete. Crease and minor handling wear/grubbiness. Note the (factory) blotted out Dinky number on the box base.
Despite being the ‘standard’ variation, we have had to look long and hard to find another in this condition. So many of the supposedly ‘rarer’ versions come to light with plastic wheels etc.!
