Notes
An original early example of this classic Dinky model first issued during 1951. This version in lustrous deep tan finish with green ridged wheels is not an easy find. Early issue, so correct early ‘railed baseplate’ with small lettering. Carefully handled and stored, this model has the occasional small mark only.
Presents well with a rich lustre.
Shiny base and smooth original tyres (one tyre has the slightest of flat spots).
Early examples would never have been boxed individually, but sold from a Dinky shopkeeper’s box of 6.
