Notes

Issued in 1964 and part of the impressive Tri-ang Spot-On range of models, all precisely to 1:42 scale. This desirable Presentation Set is straight from a collector who amassed the majority of his collection from toy shops during the 1960s.

The Set comprises four Sports Cars as follows:
104 MGA in bright red finish, grey seats. Mint condition
105 Austin-Healey in lemon finish, grey seats. Minor rubbing at sides caused by box contact, and a miniscule portion of one number plate has rubbed away.
107 Jaguar XK-SS in British Racing Green, grey interior. In virtually mint condition, probably as-made (just a couple of tiny dots to the paint finish on one wing).
108 Triumph TR3a Sports in light blue finish with pale grey seats. A little silver over-spray, and a little corner of the front number plate has rubbed away.

The box base is complete and very bright and clean showing minimal handling and careful damp-free storage. Card is crisp and the colours are vivid.

All four car containing inserts are in excellent condition, although there are a few minor tears at adjoining points of the packing piece.
The box base is bright and fresh with barely any storage wear at all and on the underside there is a shopkeeper’s price of 14/6 neatly penned.
The box lid is in excellent condition with bright vivid colours, clean and crisp. Minor rubbing only in a couple of places at edges. Three of the corners however have seam splits.
Small area of surface removal at one side (1cm x 1cm.), since originally this box had been taped shut.
A fine and scarce Spot-On Presentation Pack which has survived remarkably well.
