This 10-Ton Army Truck makes a superb display piece with an attractive matt, military green finish and a nicely fitting detachable tin canopy. Due to minimal careful handling, this model has retained its authentic matt finish. Very nice! Complete with driver and spare tyre stowed behind the cab. Shiniest metal parts too.
Easily overlooked is the little sweep of later (well-matched) paint at a wheel arch and a small mark or two besides.
The striped Supertoys box is bright and complete with no splits. Rusty staples. Dated 1956 from the Dinky factory stamp inside the box lid. Large but faint pen marking on the lid ( period price). LF (lead free) label n place at a lid end. Minor age wear.
