D166
Dinky 166 Sunbeam Rapier Saloon. Very near mint/boxed. Scarce SPUN WHEEL issue in LATE ISSUE BOX. From The Harrogate Collection.
Notes
This desirable Dinky car was made toward the end of the production run (1958-63), in two different two-tone colour finishes.
This late issue has a fresh original blue and turquoise paint finish and of course,* shaped spun wheels*:
Bright base and as-new original tyres.
Just a couple of small marks away from mint!
The harder to find late issue lighter yellow picture box is bright and complete, with the correct colour spot. Minor handling wear and light grubbiness. No tears. Shopkeeper’s price is pencilled at an end flap.
