D156
Dinky 140B/156 Rover 75 Saloon. Cream with blue wheels. Scarce. Near mint plus/boxed (correct colour spot). Early 156 issue from 1954. From The Harrogate Collection.
Notes
An early 156 issue in fine all original condition with a shining rich cream finish, blue ridged wheels, and Rover cast in to the underside of the roof. Bright base and smooth -running original tyres.
A couple of very small marks at a window post and a dot or two on the roof. Couple of very minor marks at the rear over-riders.
The scarce transition box which shows both the early 140B numbering and 156 was issued during 1954. Notably, this example has the correct cream colour spot, too. Some handling wear mostly at one end flap and a a couple of small seam tears. Creasing to the top surface.
