Issued between 1962-70, this item is part of the much-loved Chipperfields range of models. The Bedford TK tractor unit with trailer has a vivid glowing red finish, brightest shaped spun wheels,intact and bright paper labels throughout and a vivid blue back (often they appear a lot paler than this!).
Looks barely handled.

Occasional little mark at the opening doors where metal meets metal (practically unavoidable!). Notably, both of the wing mirrors are present, although one lacks the little ‘reflective’ piece. The item comes with the full complement of six grey horses.

The card plinth is complete with both pull-out end tabs in place. Looks bright and fresh and it has the original card packing piece which gives more support for the plinth. Notably, all six push-out tabs are in place too. Minor marking from the models only. No tears to the wheel slots!

Nice to see that this item still has its large white card packing piece – so often discarded!
The colourful outer box is very fine indeed; complete, clean and intensely coloured. Crisp card. Minor handling wear and a little light rubbing to one large end flap. Period price at an end flap.
