D432
Dinky 432 Guy Flat Truck. Very near mint/boxed. Rare red cab/blue back combination! From 1956. From The Heart of England Collection.
Notes
This is a scarce and original issue precisely dated from March 1956 (Dinky stamp inside the box lid). This rare version has a vivid red cab and chassis, mid blue back, mid-blue ridged hubs. Large painted hook. Second type cab so this model has triangular lugs at either side of the front number plate. Obviously unused, with a vibrant lustre. Usual scuff at the tow hook and a few minor marks besides. Little raised area on the roof.
So rare to find in any condition! Axles, bolt fixing and baseplate are shiny. Bright silver radiator and lights. Complete with spare wheel.
Marked Dinky Toys on the base.
Flat spot at a rear tyre.
The yellow and blue lift-off lid box is strongly-coloured and the deep blue base has none of the usual shelf rubbing to the underside. Bright staples too. Lid has vivid colours and no splits. Very minor handling wear only.
A fine example of a sought-after Dinky commercial truck. First class investment piece and a delight to own.
