Corgi 211S
Corgi 211S Studebaker Golden Hawk. Early *Gold-Plated* issue. Very near mint/boxed. Shop-fresh box! From The Cheshire Collection.
Notes
An eye-catching version of the Studebaker Golden Hawk with a bright shining gold-plated finish, white tail fins and suspension on flat spun wheels (early issue). Bright red interior.
This version has a distinctive gold-plated finish ? highly reflective and so difficult to capture in a picture! Please note that there are to rubs to the finish!
Grey base and as-new fine tread tyres.
So often these gold-plated versions have an almost uniform pitting to the finish which does spoil the appearance – very pleased to say that this example has a few tiny dots only (we have not seen better).
Two scratches on the driver’s door.
The pictorial box is a superb example; shop-fresh condition in fact.
