D942
Dinky 942 Foden 14-Ton Tanker 'REGENT'. Near mint /boxed. Issued during 1956. From The Reference Collection.
Notes
This shining bright tanker was issued during 1956 (Dinky stamp inside the box lid). Complete ‘REGENT’ lettering on both sides and no dents or crazing to the tank.
Rear label is fine too:
An honest example with a wonderful sheen! 3 little wheel arch marks ( as you might expect), and a very few minor marks to the delicate white stripe at the sides. Occasional negligible mark besides.
Numberplate area and a small front section of the base is a little tarnished now. Spare wheel fixing is a rather tarnished too. Probably would benefit from a careful clean.
The striped Supertoys box is very clean, brightly-coloured and complete. A little rubbing to the box lid where a penned (U.S.) price has been partially erased. Bright staples and no colour fading. Little storage bruise/almost a puncture on one side of the box base. Little corner scuff to the lid.
